A less commonly seen view of the snowdon range, taken from the slopes of Moel Hebog at the end of an autumn day. The peaks of Yr Aran and Yr LLiwedd can be seen, while Yr Wyddfa is shrouded in
cloud. It is common for the Snowdon peaks to be covered in cloud when the rest of the national park is cloud-free.
As I was some distance from Snowdon, I wanted to capture the mountains in the late evening light, but I wanted to include a lot of the dramatic autumn evening sky. As the Welsh valleys were now
in shadow, I decided to go for this composition, with the bulk of the frame given to the sky.
