Cadair Idris, Snowdonia, UK

Located near Dolgellau to the south of the snowdonia national park, Cadair Idris (Meaning “Chair of Idris”, a mythical Welsh giant) is one of my favourite UK mountains. While not huge in stature, the Minfordd Path route takes the hiker through a wild mountain corrie, then over an exhilerating ridge walk that reaches the peak of Pen Y Gadair at its highest point.
