Bowfell, Lake District, UK

Bowfell is one of my favourite lakeland fells. From the small rocky summit, there are superb views of Scafell Pike and Scafell and the other Langdale peaks. This image was taken from near Three Tarns as the light was being blocked by increasing cloud cover. For a few minutes, the light constantly changed on Bowfell and the surrounding land. I took several images, with different light and composition, and this is my favourite from the collection.
